Hello, I’m Ang, The Glass Hippie.
I grew up in a small town in Lincolnshire, where I was lucky to be surrounded by nature. My childhood was filled with outdoor adventures, exploring with friends, and long walks with my family. Some of my most treasured memories are of my dad teaching me about the natural world—learning about different plants, trees, and birds.
I also spent a lot of time by the Norfolk coast, where family days at the beach were a regular joy. Walking along the shore and playing in the sea created lasting memories that continue to inspire my glass art today.
In 2022, I discovered glass fusing through a course and immediately fell in love with the craft. My designs draw on the experiences that have shaped my life, and with the support of my family, I launched The Glass Hippie. Now, I spend my days in my garden workshop, creating unique glass pieces that reflect my love for the countryside, animals, and the sea.
Seeing how my work resonates with others—bringing smiles and sparking emotion—is what drives me to keep creating.
